Product Overview

A relief valve is used to control or limit the pressure in the system to protect the system from process upset, instrument or equipment failure, or fire cause due to the excess pressure. When the set pressure exceeded, the relief valve becomes the path of least resistance and the valve is forced to open and a portion of the fluid is diverted through the auxiliary route. This valve will automatically reseat after discharging the excess pressure. This valve is made up of high quality brass material which offers good corrosion resistance, high strength and makes the valve dimensionally stable which will help in easy installation of valve in the required system. For ease of identification the valve comes with stamped informations such as manufacturer part number and pressure rating. This relief valve is installed on the valve block assembly used in GE's Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Systems.
