Product Overview
The introduction of fMRI (functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging) as a clinical tool has added vital information to patient treatment and evaluation. By utilizing parallel imaging techniques, an fMRI exam can be completed in less than 30 minutes.
- The clinical use of fMRI requires simple automated procedures, enabling a single technician to handle stimulus generation, image acquisition, data analysis and reporting and exporting of results
- NNL (NordicNeuroLab) fMRI solution has been specifically designed to fit within the workflow of your hospital’s daily routine and has been tailored to integrate software and hardware components simply and effectively
- Item includes Goggles
- Compatible with GE MRI scanners with field strength up to 3T and most head coils. It uses standardized interface adapters for audio and visual input
Includes:
- VisualSystem (goggles): Includes everything needed to present images in the goggle in the MRI. Goggle, SIU, fiber transmitter, VGA adapters, cables, head coil adapter (compatible with most head coils). Full HD resolution displays (1920 x 1200). Support for 3D / Stereoscopic. Built-in diopter- and pupil distance adjustment
- Synchbox: Synchronize image acquisition with fMRI stimulus delivery. Allows user to select how the trigger pulse from the scanner is transferred to the software presenting the stimuli. Compatible with leading software and hardware packages and provides accurate logging of time stamps
- ResponseGrip: Two paddles ergonomically designed for use in either hand and for minimizing patient movement inside the scanner. Four button ResponseGrips (two buttons per hand (index finger + thumb). Includes interface, cabling and fiber bundle
- nordicAktiva stimulus software with PC: fMRI stimulus delivery software. Ready-to-use standard clinical paradigm library. Includes library with pre-defined paradigms for language, motor, visual, auditory and cognitive tasks. Ability to modify paradigms based on user preferences or build a tailored library.
