Product Overview
- Music can help to provide relaxation and comfort to the patient during MRI procedures
- AutoVoice Commands are sent directly into the patient’s ears for breath-hold sequences by utilizing Magnacoustics’ proprietary interface with GE’s hardware and software
- In AutoVoice Command mode, by utilizing our Patient Ready Signal System (PRS), the patient can simply press a button on one of the handheld controls signaling the technologist their readiness for the breath-hold sequence to begin
- Patient Handheld Controls – Allows the patient to adjust the volume and change the media selection with the press of a button. These controls provide Voice Feedback to the patient, enhancing their operation. This feature may help to distract even the most apprehensive patients by allowing them to be in control of their own environment.
- Integral interface with GE hardware and software allows technologist to utilize the existing GE console mic to talk directly to the patient via the Magnacoustics™ system
- Programmable Volume Compensation system automatically raises and lowers the volume level for the patient in response to varying sound pressure levels of the MRI
- Magnacoustics provides an 8-driver patented magnetically inert RF-shielded pneumatic stereo transducer Eight drivers are required to properly compensate for newer scanners with louder gradients Eight drivers allow our transducer to provide frequency response from 20Hz to 20KHz
- SEE IN THE DARK – Our GUI Electroluminescent Backlit Technologist Control Unit allows the technologist operation of the entire system with the touch of a button in a low lit MRI environment
- 100% microprocessor-controlled to simplify operation, upgrades and diagnostics Designed with the capacity to implement emerging technology as it becomes available
- Technologists can also listen to music with dual speakers
- Integral interface for functional MRI with built-in input for audio stimulation. The patient handheld controls can be used to transmit patient responses
