Overview

This online training course provides information about the basic theory of networking, routers and switches. This course covers the necessary skills for service providers to configure connectivity on modality equipment. Focus is on understanding of how a network functions.
Best for students who need to configure devices for connectivity and troubleshoot network communication. Pre-requisite to CT, DGS, MR and Ultrasound Proficient Programs.
Upon successful completion of this online training, you should have gained the following skills:
- Internetworking Skills (Understanding of the current networking environment, network parameter configuration, basic network testing/troubleshooting, understanding basic security options and how to implement them).
- Wireless Connectivity Skills (Understanding of the wireless environment (802.11 standards and potential conflicts), understanding of how wireless works, basic wireless testing/troubleshooting.
