Product Overview

The Power/Data Cable is a cable assembly that consists of 24 AWG - 8 twisted pair cable, connector cover, housing, contact and copper foil. A tinned copper material is used as a conductor material for the cable. They are more conductive, corrosion resistant, and long-lasting than ordinary copper wires. It is insulated with semi-rigid Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) of a thickness of 0.011 inches. The 100% outer shielding is provided by aluminum foil-polyester tape with shorting fold. The connector and housing are available for in a wide cable range, from 20-24 AWG. It is recommended to use specific tool to crimp contact onto the wire. The copper foil tape is a 1 ounce rolled copper foil which provides excellent solderability and conformity. It is used for EMI/RFI (Electromagnetic Interference/Radiofrequency Interference) shielding applications in the electrical/electronics industry. It is coated with an acrylic adhesive which is uniformly dispersed with conductive spheres. The connector cover is made up of metalized plastic, it is a hood like structure used to safeguard the connector. This assembly is used in wide range of systems such as MS TRAMRAC, HCS-IT MacLab, MacLab Upgrades, MacLab, UL Vivid I, XV INNOVA IGS 530 and ARC Tec 7 Vaporizer.
