Product Overview

The Gas Spring can be defined as hydro-pneumatic energy storage elements. The gas spring unit consists of the piston rod, sealed cylinder and sealer. The nitrogen gas and oil are filled in a sealed cylinder, and the piston rod is attached with the cylinder. This unit works in a two principle movement’s compression stroke and extension stroke. In compression stroke the piston rod is pushed down the fluid and gas in the cylinder gets compressed and the energy gets stored. When the pressure on the rod gets released, the piston gets back to its original position due to the energy released in the compressed fluid. The sealers are made of high-quality materials to withstand the pressure. Its because of the high pressure of the gas inside it, a gas spring can be much more compact than a metal spring that would provide the same amount of force. The gas springs expand and contract more smoothly than metal springs and can be designed to open and close at an exact and constant speed (unlike metal springs, which contract faster when they are extended further and can be very unpredictable). This part is widely used in ARM motorization Unit, Digital Breast Tomosyntheses option, Seno-Clarrie LLH1 and other medical equipments as applicable. The GE product is innovation and technology that fits well into versatile customer needs.
