Product Overview

A Rupture Disk is round in shape with a number of layers. It is a non-reclining pressure relief device or safety device. During the excess pressure conditions, the rupture disk protects the equipment and vessels from damage. It produces constant pressure free protection. Rupture disks are designed in such a way that they are unbreakable and can be installed easily. These disks are attached to the holder and later organize it between the flanges. It is either flat or dome shaped. Specific rupture disk diameter and pipe diameter are combined to give a theoretical pipe size. They are determined with a breaking point, which has either common cuts or unique geometries. The disk material has a crystal system, with specific gravity and hardness. The gasket used is made from mechanical Teflon which features excellent electrical properties and is non-toxic. The material used for the tag possesses cryogenic resistance and magnetic response. These disks are used in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) XR Brivo DR-F, MR Signa Excite 1.5T, XM Sonographer Essential, MR Signa LX 1.5T, UL Voluson P8, 3.0T Signa Premier and other applications.
